The inclusion dance (podcast)

This Spring, I had a great session with Huapii, a tech startup in HR working on diversity. As you know, we can never know enough about the topic and I love to keep learning about how to drive more inclusive company cultures. It was a pleasure to connect with them at an event hosted by VRT.

They asked me to share my views in their new huapii hour podcast 📣.

Don't you just love the title THE INCLUSION DANCE ? It turned out as a 35 minute crash course in inclusive leadership. We talked about why the inclusion journey is similar to the sustainability journey many companies started years ago, and how can you drive change in your organisation. The role of the HR Manager is very important but everyone is equally responsible to sustain inclusive culture. We talked about the importance of letting your best talents go to fully develop them, and about the blind spots we all have.

Starting the dialogue is always the first step in any change journey.

It's what I do in my management workshops for leaders. Over and over I see how connecting them on a personal level to the topic of inclusion is a prerequisite to turn passive fans into active change makers.
